CASE STUDY
DIESEL ENGINE
Great Wall Two Liter Turbo Diesel Engine
INSTALLATION
Engine Displacement 2.0 Liters – Peak Power 110 kW

EQUIPMENT
Brown’s Gas Generator 100 L/hr – 12 Volt DC

RESULTS
Test statistics were compiled for running the Great Wall 2.0 liter Turbo Diesel SUV with combustion support by the 100 L/hr rated Brown’s Gas HHO generator.
The long distance open road tests were between Canberra and Sydney in Australia. Long distance fuel saving improvements were immediate showing 27.7% with the engine running consistently at 2100 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 110 km/hr.
Long distance driving pre-installation benchmark prior to HHO installation:
23.11.2019 Canberra – Sydney 265km/ 24.67 L = 9.31 L/100km
Installation 24.11.2019
Vibrational noise and rattle stopped immediately the engine was started.
Long distance driving post-installation after HHO installation
24.11.2019 Sydney – Canberra 275km/18.56 L = 6.73 L/100km
08.12.2019 Canberra – Cooma 219km/15.4 L = 6.92 L/100km
Long distance driving 27.7% improvement over 494 km
Urban driving statistics are erratic, improvement of 26.9% was not immediate and depended on the engine being carbon cleaned whilst driving over 1,000 kilometers.
Results have consistently improved with total distance traveled, evidencing the Brown’s Gas HHO effect of continuously cleaning the engine over the total distance traveled.
Urban driving in ACT – no pre-installation benchmark
08.12. 2019 Canberra – Urban driving 405.9km/40.3 L = 9.93 L/100km
16.12.2019 Canberra – Urban driving 275.0 km/25.0 L = 9.09 L/100km
23.12.2019 Canberra – Urban driving 139.6 km/11.2 L = 8.02 L/100klm diesel only
03.01.2020 Canberra – Urban driving 152 km /20.9 L = 7.26 L/100km
17.01.2020 Canberra – Urban driving 200 km /16.25 L = 8.12 L/100km
Urban driving 26.9% improvement over 972.5 km
Total distance traveled 1,466.5 km
