The addition of oxyhydrogen gas, also known as Brown’s Gas, to a coal or biomass boiler can result in several factors that contribute to the overall fuel saving of 16%.
Firstly, oxyhydrogen gas is a highly combustible gas that can burn more efficiently than the primary fuel source, such as wood sawdust or Agri Waste, in the biomass boiler. This means that less fuel is required to generate the same amount of heat, resulting in a reduction of up to 10% in fuel consumption.
Secondly, oxyhydrogen gas has a higher combustion temperature than traditional fossil fuels, which can lead to a more complete combustion process. This means that more of the fuel is being utilized, resulting in an additional 3-5% fuel saving.
Thirdly, the addition of oxyhydrogen gas can result in a more stable and controlled combustion process, reducing the amount of unburned fuel and ash buildup in the boiler. This can result in a further 2-3% reduction in fuel consumption.
